Everybody is Someone

In the KITLV archive, all photos of disabled/diffabled people contain minimal information and barely any context on who the people are, and why and how the photos were taken. This indicates that the disabled/diffabled people photographed were merely considered as objects, while in fact, everybody is someone with stories.

In response to the photo archive, the disabled/diffabled community in Indonesia offered their counterarchive by showcasing their photos and stories for viewers to ponder.
